A link was sent to me buy a friend and it sent me to Les Queues De Sardines’s website. I fell in love within the second that the page took to load. Les Queues De Sardines design tights & stocking. They are all hand made and of a very high standard. They come in varied styles, colours and themes. These tights are not just something to wear, they are tools to display your personality and mood. How long have Les Queues De Sardines been designing and producing these creative tights & stockings?

Officialy Les Queues de Sardines were born 01 December 2008, but some drawings and ideas were already lying on the floor for a few years.

How was this creative process born? Who was involved?

Marion, the second part of LQS, was already customizing her tights when she was student. The thing is that there was more paints on the legs than on the tights….
Then we decide to collaborate together with a wish to create tights that play with the legs, and we started to mix our both universes.
We took time before finding the right way to make it real, hand screenprinted appears at being the right process for us, allowing us to do just what we wanted to do and being completely independant.

Where do you draw inspiration from?

From everything and nothing in particular, we both have our own universe and taste, so it’s not always very easy to melt them together. But I think that our keyline is just having fun with this project.

Are you involved in anymore fashion or creative ventures?

We spend quite a lot of time preparing this project, we also fit up a proper place to work in goods conditions. So we didn’t get that much free time, but I am still working on various creative project playing with animations, drawing and music.
