2009 was a strong year for the Xbox, with games such as Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, Forza 3 and Left 4 Dead 2 the 360 saw its fair share of Triple A releases, that said 2010 is shaping up to be the 360′s strongest year yet.
January isn’t even over  and we already have Darksiders, Bayonetta, Army of Two and Dark Void to keep us busy with Mass Effect 2 hitting in a matter days just in time to absorb a little more of our time.

So what do we have to look forward to?

Well there’s:

  • Bioshock 2
  • Dantes Inferno
  • Aliens Vs Predator
  • Splinter Cell Conviction
  • Halo Reach
  • Battlefield Bad Company 2
  • Final Fantasy 13
  • Red Dead Redemption
  • Metro 2033
  • Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
  • Crysis 2
  • Dead Space 2

This is a huge list and its by no means complete, it’s just a selection that I feel showcases the better releases in the near future. Alongside the simply huge array of games on the horizon we have the Xbox game room and the slightly disturbing Project Natal, the former being of marginal interest and the latter being creepy in so many ways (Watch this to see what I mean: Meet Milo)

This is looking like a good year to be a 360 gamer, as long as your console doesn’t ‘red ring’ right before lets say Mass Effect 2 hits and lets be honest chances are it will happen to somebody.
