You announced a while ago on the Barry The Blender Facebook that there were 6 more rounds of I AM FIGHTER coming out, when can we expect to see round 7?

Soon enough, we are going to make all of the remaining videos and release them in fairly quick succession.

There’s been a huge gap between episode/round 6 and round 7 coming out. Why such a long time?

We thought 6 was going to be the last one but we’ve been asked by so many people if we were going to make more and i thought it would be a shame not to. We’re just not goin to put as much emphasis on these videos, we are just making them for a laugh and if people want to watch them they can, and then they can sit at home and complain about how the 7th wasn’t as good as the 4th and therefor we shouldn’t bother making them.

Are there any other new characters in the new episodes?

Yeah there will be 3 new characters, they will be funny, but i can’t tell you about them, but the will be played by Audio Picnic favourites.

Other than I AM FIGHTER what have you been doing?

Well we haven’t been doing I AM FIGHTER stuff, that’s why we’re only getting around to it now. I have been doing stand – up around the place, Dan and I have also been writing for various tv show ideas that no one will ever be interested in.

Have you any goals for yourself? Is there maybe a certain venue you want to play or maybe write your own sketch show or maybe TV show?

I’ll play any venue if it’s full of attentive laughers to be honest. I would like to try and do more stand-up across the pond. In the meantime we are just coming up with more t.v. ideas to be made, although that looks doubtful as most of our comedy scripts are actually funny, and that doesn’t seem to be what comedy producers are after at the moment. I might look into starting up my own production company so that I can film my own ideas then pitch them to networks rather than wait for someone to take a risk. Alternatively i think it would be pretty cool to set up a website where we can produce comedy videos from northern ireland and completely cut out any t.v. networks.
