On Saturday the 7th of April Indian based promotion Super Fight League will return, for the second performance in the promotion’s history. With Asian MMA on the rise once again this promises to be a good one and you can see it all for free on Youtube.
The main event sees Todd Duffe, formally a UFC competitor and holder of one of the fastest KO’s in the promotion’s history take on UK based South African native Neil Grove. This has the potential to great fight, Duffee is an explosive fighter, holding a seven second knock out over Tim Hauge in his organisational debut at UFC 109. However he was subsequently cut from the organisation conceding a loss to Mike Russow. Following that he left the States and fought in Japan at DREAM: Dynamite 2010!! challenging for the DREAM Heavyweight Championshp. Unfortunately for Duffee he lost in nineteen seconds at the hands of UFC title contender Alistair Overeem.
Neil Grove is one of the most popular fighters in the UK and one of a select list to be successful on the international stage. The fourty-one year old fighter found most success in Cage Rage and UCMMA before moving State side to fight for the Bellator organisation. Grove went 3-3 in the organisation and now finds himself in India.
This is experience Vs youth, both men are powerful machines and as a MMA fan you should be excited about this fight.
