Bret McKenzie Hints at a FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS Movie

Flight-of-the-Conchords-s-001

McKenzie is swooshing around the place enjoying the praise he is getting from his song writting on the Muppets moive Oscar nominee “Life’s a Happy Song.” He spoke to Collider about Arrested Development The Movie and had some things to say on Flight Of The Conchords – The Movie.

Reviving low-rated sitcoms for feature films is en vogue right now, with movies for Party Down and Arrested Development promised by their respective cast/crews. The prospect of an Arrested Development movie and season on Netflix terrifies me, because I don’t know how easily the greatness of the original can be recreated five years later. Flight of the Conchords is different, though. I feel like we can drop in on Bret and Jemaine at any point in their lives, and as long as the songs are good, the rest will fall into place. The movie, if it ever comes, is likely a long way off. But I will welcome it with no trepidation.

PanicDots.com 11

David Beckham has been considering an offer to join Dancing On Ice squad.

Victoria Beckham, friend and Dancing On Ice fan Justin Bieber and the show’s coach Christopher Dean have been trying to sway his decision to appear in next year’s series.

“He’d be great,” Dean told the Daily Star. “He likes music so hopefully he has rhythm. We like the idea of an athlete from a different sport.”

Beckham himself is quoted by the publication as saying: “There are a lot of options. I’m not in a great rush to decide.”

Other stars tipped to appear on the ITV show are Corey Feldman, Chesney Hawkes, actress Jennifer Ellison and Sugababes singer Heidi Range.

Christine Bleakley will present the new series of Dancing On Ice alongside Phillip Schofield after current host Holly Willoughby defected to BBC talent show The Voice.
