About

Panic Dots began life under the name of NIPODCAST. NI, of course standing for Northern Ireland! Starting off with Richard Crothers and soon after his friend James Lyttle joined, they aimed to present a proper selection of the best new music Ireland had to offer, with exclusives from the biggest names in the country including Duke Special and David Holmes.
After 12 episodes James continuted to get busier with his band and no longer had time to devote to podcasting. However Richard started inviting guests to co-host the show and so began asking bands around the country to join him on each podcast. Hosts have included And So I Watch You From Afar, General Fiasco, Panama Kings, Colin Bateman, Terry Bradley & Ronan Keating.

Summer 09 has seen a huge change for Panic Dots. Richard’s career took a jump, landing him a lot of new music, PR companies, record labels and a bunch of hipsters. This in turn led to a change in the podcast. With broader horizons, Panic Dots now outputs some of the most up-to-date music in the world.

The podcast has now became a huge website with many different interests. Panicdots.com has fast become one of the most popular sites in the country.
