A Plastic Rose – Free EP

A Plastic Rose have just released a free EP on Bandcamp.
You can go and collect you free EP HERE

There are two tracks on the Promise & Mother It’s Time.
It looks like they have just set up their Bandcamp as there’s nothing on there for sale yet, but watch that space!

I asked Ian why they had decided to give away this EP.
“we decided it was time to give something to our friends and fans, and not steal their money. We’re thankful for all the support i guess“

When quiz on recording and on a possible future album he replied,
“part of the reason we’ve been recording lately is to suss out studios, engineers and producers for the album, and to demo the tracks. we hope to have it ready for late 2010/early 2011“

A Plastic Rose are having a single launch for their massive tune ‘Kids Don’t Behave Like This” in Stiff Kitten on the 26th of March!
I’ve heard there’s a remix in the pipeline for the B-Side of the single!

Panic Dots Top 10 Albums Of The Year!

I have put together my top ten albums of 2009.
It has been a crazy year for music and myself. I’ve never had so many new bands names in my head. It’s odd how much I get songs and bands mixed up at the minute. Like, every time I hear The Temper Traps single, Sweet Disposition I always think it is Wild Beasts. I could go on with more examples of me being an idiot, but I won’t. There have been so many great albums this year and this is really a pleasure to be doing. Ok, so here are my top ten in reverse order and I’m going to make a track from each album downloadable.
