Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to 120 days in jail for violating probation on a 2007 drink-driving conviction.
In addition to the jail stint – her fourth – the 24-year-old Mean Girls starlet will be required to carry out 480 hours of community service.
Lohan’s lawyer vowed to appeal against the sentence, and she was expected to be freed on $75,000 (£45,413) bail.
The violation stems from an accusation Lohan stole a $2,500 necklace from a California jewellery store in January.

Let’s start in 1999, Andy Dick decided to go driving after filling himself with cocaine and smokin a load of dope. He may have got away with his drug fuled driving if it wasnt for the telephone pole that he crashed his car into. In 2007 Dick was cited in Columbus, Ohio, for urinating on the sidewalk. A comedy club owner in the city said the actor also made inappropriate comments while onstage, groped patrons, took women into the men’s room and urinated on the floor and on at least one person. Later that year he had to be removed from the american TV show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” He had exposed himself to the audience twice and couldn’t keep his hands off the other guest, Ivanka Trump. In 2008 MR Dick pulled a 17 year old girls top down exposing her breasts and groped her and her friend in their lady gardens. He also tried to kiss a man. Serial killing has been going on since before we would even keep records of such a thing. Some suggest that medieval serial killers were the inspiration behind such legends as vampires and werewolves. Some of the most successful killers were from the 15th century. They got away with death tolls of up too 800. One of the killers was actually one of the wealthiest men in Europe at the time, Mr Gilles de Rais. It’s said that he killed between 140 -800 children.
